Know Your RV or Mobile Home Roof
Wood or aluminum usually describes the framing—not the waterproof surface. Above it are the roof deck and an exterior membrane, typically EPDM, TPO, or PVC. We identify the surface and existing products first. We inspect the entirety of the roof for damage. We look for UV-damaged or cracked lap sealant, vents and other penetration plastics, poor membrane adhesion or tears, A/C gaskets, and spongy or water-damaged decking. Then we repair damaged decking, remove loose material, clean and dry the roof, and choose compatible primer, tape, sealant, and coating for the weather and cure conditions.
How We Assess RV Roof Damage & Leaks
We identify the roof surface and repair history; inspect seams, edges, caps, vents, skylights, AC units, antennas, solar mounts, fasteners and sealants; check for cracks, punctures, lifting and soft decking; and inspect the interior for stains, swelling, odors and delamination. Then we provide photos and repair options.
